Our premium yoga mats are 24" wide x 72" tall x 0.25" thick and made from natural rubber with a blended microfiber top surface. The top of the mat has the image printed on it, and the back is solid black with textured dimples for better floor grip.
Design Details
I painted this in my college days when Black Power was at its height. The horizontal lines and colors played to the confusion of the movement.

I painted this in my college days when "Black Power" was at its height. The horizontal lines and colors played to the confusion of the movement.
My interest in the Visual Arts began in early childhood, fueled by the awards and encouragement I received from teachers and others close to me. It was my kindergarten teacher who first noticed the attention to detail that I put into my drawings. This encouragement sparked my desire for educational pursuits of drawing and painting at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, and from The Ohio State University at Columbus where I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art Eduction. I taught art in the Chicago Public School system where I inspired talented young students to pursue their ambitions.
